Monday Morning Be Like

Monday Morning Be Like

Bunda, Mrs. Goh is Chinesse you know?”

Rayyan, please. I don’t like you defining people according to their races, religion, or skin color. Just tell me her name.”

“But Bunda …”

“It’s not good okay?”

“But Bunda, what I’m trying to say is that you should write to her in English. Not Malay, because she doesn’t understand Malay.”

Ih! Bocah! Emak sudah tau lah!

“I’m not going to write in Malay!”

“Good. Because she’s not Malay nor Indonesian Bunda.”

“I’m going to write in Javanesse. Boso Jowo!”

Bundaaaaaaa!”

Bocah pagi-pagi udah ngeselin!

Walau ternyata asumsi saya salah. Hihihi. Stop and listen! Sorry ya, Rayyan.

Much Love,
