Banana Cake
Every morning I always pack foods for my children. It can be anything I have in the kitchen. Since I haven’t done any grocery shopping recently, all I have left is 3 ripe bananas and some stuffs for baking.
So, I decided to bake Banana Cake for them. It’s easy peasy lemon squeezy, as easy as one, two, three. It’s very simple, yet so yummy it becomes everybody’s favourite at home. The ingredients and method are as follows:
Ingredients:
2 overripe bananas
170 g caster sugar
170 g self raising flour
170 g butter (softened)
1 egg
½ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla essence
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 160ºC.
Grease and line a loaf tin, a cake mould, or cupcake liners.
Mix everything with a whisker or put into a food processor and blend until well mixed.
Pour into a tin or cupcake liners.
You can add cheese or Nutella and stir to make a “batik” pattern.
Bake around 15 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
You might try to poke a stick in. When it comes out clean, your cake is done.
Happy baking!
